On the 10th of February, the Department of Urbanism held its first Research Exchange Meeting dedicated to “inclusive urbanism”. The event was coordinated by Stefano Calzati, together with Thomas Verbeek and Marcin Dubrowski, and it hosted presentations of early-launched and ongoing research projects, one for each of the six sections animating the department. For the Urban Data Science group, Ashraf Shaharudin presented the ODECO project, in which he is currently involved and which is coordinated by Bastiaan van Loenen. The event included workshop cross-sectional discussions, attended by a robust representation of PhDs, postdocs, professors, and department staff.
On December 8th, Stefano Calzati will take part as an invitee to the workshop 'Privilegisation in Digital Data Infrastructures' organized by the Urban Digital Infrastructure Collective of the DesignLab at University of Twente.

In 2023 the annual conference of the Association of Geographic Information Laboratories in Europe (AGILE) will be held in Delft, between 13th and 16th of June. On November 18th, Prof. Bastiaan van Loenen delivered a keynote lecture at the Danish National GIS conference. The keynote, titled 'Towards Geographical Information Ecosystems', attracted more than 800 people and was the occasion to disseminate ODECO project and advance an ecosystemic understanding for geo information.
